William D. Marelich, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Psychology at California State University, Fullerton. Dr. Marelich received his Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, and completed a two-year NIMH Postdoctoral Scholar appointment in the Dept. of Sociology at UCLA. In addition to his current position at CSU Fullerton, he remains a consulting senior statistician with Health Risk Reduction Projects (part of ISAP at UCLA), and has been a visiting professor at both UCLA and Claremont Graduate University. His research interests include decision-making strategies in health and organizational settings, patient/provider interactions, interpersonal relationships, and statistical/methodological approaches in experimental and applied research. His work has been published in journals such as AIDS Care, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, and the Journal of Studies on Alcohol.
